We are looking for a full-time memorial installer and delivery technician.

Schedule: Monday – Thursday, hours between 5:00am-3:30pm

Job Summary: This unique role of both granite memorial installation and delivery technician is a key function to our Logistics Department. Memorials and markers must be delivered and installed on time and in excellent condition, and you will be a positive representation of Quiring Monuments to our customers.

Duties and Responsibilities:
-Drive heavy-duty trucks to cemeteries – maintaining a schedule and safe driving practices
-Install granite memorials onsite
-Interact professionally with customers while delivering or picking up granite memorials
-Load truck for delivery route
-Make sure paperwork for daily deliveries is in order
-Keep logs to meet company, state, and federal regulations
-Monitor orders to be delivered and communicate electronically via PC tablet onsite
-Photograph all completed memorial installations, and submit electronically
-Keep trucks clean inside and out
-Perform weekly truck inspections and report any concerns
-Basic truck maintenance (check tire pressure, lights, signals, fluid levels)
-Assist others as needed

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
-Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
-Must be able to lift and maneuver granite memorials without causing injury or damage
-Must be able to move 100+ lbs on a regular basis
-Ability to work long hours on the road and outdoors in various weather conditions
-Must be able to operate a hand truck or industrial dolly
-Must be dependable with good attendance
-Safe driving practices and experience driving large trucks
-Must possess good customer relations skills
-Proficiency with tape measure and basic arithmetic
-Ability to troubleshoot basic mechanical problems
-Use of critical judgement and problem-solving
-Attention to detail
-Must be a team player
-Forklift certification preferred but not required

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour

**This position will be exposed to information about people who have passed on and in some cases people who passed on very young. This position will also be exposed to photographs of people of all ages, who have passed that become part of a beautiful tribute in stone. It is very important that applicants are comfortable with the monument industry.**
